This film describes all of the stages of basic Arashi Shibori pleating including:

  • Acid Dyeing
  • 2 methods of wrapping
  • Discharge
  • Steaming

Double wrapping is also introduced. Equipment developed specifically for this technique of pleating is demonstrated.
